I just have this blogger account because some of my friends use blogger and this lets me comment on their blogs more easily.

Still waiting

I'm still waiting for my Gmail invite, even though this is only my 2nd day with the blogger account. I kinda don't think it will come, as the general consensus seems to be that blogger stopped offering the invites. Probably because of a mad rush of people like me opening accounts in an attempt to get a Gmail account early...

Gmail??

I heard you can get a free Gmail account by opening an account with Blogger.com. Blogger.com is owned by Google, and apparently you can get an invite to Gmail if you are an active Blogger.com user. I'm not sure it Google is still offering this to Blogger users, but I'm going to give it a try anyway to see. I'll post about once a day and wait a few days to see if I get an invite.
